Crypto News: Fed Meeting, BTC Adoption, APE Antics, Mining & More!!

May 02, 2022

Hey Guys,

Hope you all had a great weekend despite the dip. It's time for another weekly crypto review, and there's no avoiding the elephant in the room.

Markets are looking pretty messy across the board, and it looks like we're in for some more volatility this week.

That's mainly because of the Federal Reserve. Later this week they will be holding a press conference where they'll be announcing how much they plan on raising interest rates. The key word here is expectations: if they do what investors are expecting we could see a rally.

Conversely, if the Federal Reserve hikes higher than what investors were expecting we could see a massive sell off that could take us into a bear market. It doesn't help that BTC's weekly price action hasn't looked this bad since the beginning of the last bear market.

Even with all this bearish news, there are a bunch of bullish developments behind the scenes, and I reckon it's only a matter of time before those fundamentals come to the fore. It looks like these bullish announcements flew under the radar, but I managed to pick them up.

Make no mistake, this week's crypto review is one you cannot miss.
