The World Economic Forum has just ramped up its annual meeting in Davos, so I figured it was appropriate to push a video about a report the WEF recently published. This report provides predictions (promises) on the upcoming crises we’re likely to (going to) face.
In all seriousness, the WEF contacted over 13 000 of the world’s most powerful people to take part in this report. The result is almost 100 pages of some of the most depressing stuff you’ll ever read, which is why I decided to take one for the team by doing a summary.
The silver lining is that the so called ‘polycrisis’ the WEF is forecasting is due to its own agenda, which is itself rooted in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. They’re right about the problems, but we need a solution other than centralisation.
Stay tuned until the end to find out how the WEF is planning on fighting this polycrisis, and how you can survive it.
