Crypto & The WEF: I Can't Believe They Said THIS!?
Hey Guys,
So I'm sure you've all heard about the World Economic Forum's recent meeting in Davos by now. However, something tells me that you didn't hear what was said about crypto at the WEF event itself.
That's because there were actually two crypto events occurring in Davos at the same time, and these seem to have dominated the crypto headlines.
What's interesting is that crypto's strong presence in Davos seems to be anomaly that was only made possible because the event had been delayed from it's regular time in January to May.
This is according to CoinDesk reporter Dikhilesh De, who also heard from a WEF spokesperson that we may not see nearly as much crypto representation next year.
Given that Davos is a gathering of the world's most powerful people, there were of course no shortages of important discussions and announcements that took place.
We did our best to narrow down the ones that were the most relevant to crypto, and I must admit there were a few others I wanted to include but didn't for the sake of time.
