Of course, reading said white-papers is easier said than done. Indeed, many people who are new to crypto investing completely skip this step and rely on other second hand accounts of the benefits of the project.

Bit of terminology: Whitepapers are basically a summary of everything the project is about: who made it, how it works, what the project is planning, and so on.

Whitepapers can be long or short, and they don't necessarily have to be white either. There are yellow papers, beige papers, one pagers, flash papers, light papers, and so on. These rarely cover the same bases to the same extent as whitepapers however.

Whether you're a beginner or a pro, what you see today should help sharpen your crypto chops. There's quite a bit to go through, but I promise you that you that whitepapers are easier to break down than you think, and the rewards for doing so can be immense.

Enjoy!
